“ Hubby and I stopped in to kill some time while we laundered comforters at the laundromat at across the parking lot. Even though the restaurant wasn't open yet, we were able to start with a drink and watch some football. Once the kitchen opened, we decided to split a ribeye and some sides. Perfection. Steak was cooked to our desired temp and coloring, sides were split for us and we enjoyed our own plate. Service was great, too. 10/10 recommend. ”
“ We drove in from LA and were super hungry and it was about 8 pm. This place was on the way to our rental. The people were so nice and friendly. We went upstairs to get a booth. The waitress was so friendly and remembered our whole order and never wrote it down. She was excellent. Our food was delicious the steak was cooked perfectly. And we had a great little dinner. ”
“ Consistently great food, ambience and especially service. Our last server Aaron did a great job keeping tabs on us and taking time to joke around a bit and chat. Personable and kind and a hard worker. Kudos to the kitchen as well, excellent steaks. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. ”
“ We were up at Lake Arrowhead for Oktoberfest and wanted a place for dinner. I found RB's on Yelp and it looked good so we decided to give it a try. It's a bit tucked away from the road so we actually drove past it at first and had to turn around. The inside felt like a nice place to hang out with nice rustic touches. The bar is downstairs and the dining room upstairs. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken in a timely fashion. I think almost all of us ordered the New Yorker steak. Mine was cooked just right (medium but more on the rare side) but one of the others was a little too rare for his liking. The kitchen was able to fix it and we were all happily eating our delicious steaks. Overall, we were pleased. The next time we are up there and need a dinner spot, we'll be back! ”
“ Great food, service and funky cool ambiance. Our server was Chellsey and I asked her name because I wanted to give a good review. What's funny is that I got a friend request from her on FB that next day because she recognized me from Hermosa Beach. Her dad and I have been friends for years. Small world! Anyway, an older woman when we came in raved about the roasted chicken. We both got it and it was so mouthwatering! The sauce, the veggies and the mashed potatoes were perfectly prepared. Good drinks too! I'd sit outside next time and they had a taco bar special that night that looked like a must try too! Gotta get back to Arrowhead for more! ”
“ Been here twice now, tri tip with 2 sides for $27?! And it was good! I'm picky with red meat and we thoroughly enjoyed some cocktails and steak. There is outdoor seating for dogs and karaoke downstairs. ”
“ It's a small restaurant above a bar. We were probably the only tourists there although everyone was friendly. I love supporting local spots like this. Our server was very warm and accommodating--she has this positive energy filling the room. It truly felt like having dinner at a neighbor's home--yeah, that neighbor who has mad kitchen skills and also knows how to serve up killer drinks. Everything was awesome and the kids absolutely loved their orders. It's just, well, my steak was supposed to be medium well and it was served well done. However, the minestrone soup side blew my mind and so did the bread that came with my husband's Alfredo pasta. The steak was also tasty (most US steak places have a blandness about them) and this important detail made me finish my plate in spite of the hard texture. We appreciate the check-ins and quick refills as well. Talk about amazing service. ”
“ Came here for our anniversary dinner. They were in a middle of a remodel so there was only seating in the bar. We didn't really care though. Our waitress was very welcoming and efficient. Everyone was happy with what they ordered and our food was cooked to perfection and we were especially surprised by the soup of the day (stuffed tomato soup) It was kind of like chili kind of like vegetable stew, I can't really explain it but you must get it if they are offering. The buffalo wings were also some of the best wings we have ever had! As of now this place is super casual and doesn't really have date night ambiance. (Maybe when the remodel is complete) There was a guy at the bar that was loud and belligerent, he was super annoying and kind of killed the vibe but we made the best of it and still had a nice dinner. ”
